A mild start…But colder air is coming
- Sunny and mild start to the week
- Cloudy with some scattered snow late Tuesday
- Light snow and colder Tuesday
- More clouds and still cold Wednesday
It will be another mild afternoon as highs will again be about 15 degrees above average for this time of year. This pattern will quickly end overnight and into tomorrow with temperatures dropping into the 30s by Tuesday afternoon. Temperatures will continue their downward spiral through the rest of the work week with highs only in the 20s by Friday.
Some moderation in temperatures will be possible by the end of the weekend and early next week.

Question: overall has this been a warmer then usual winter? This due to El Nino or La Nina?, or both?
Not complaining. Gotta take what Mother Nature gives us.
Joselynn, That’s a tough question. The overall pattern for this winter may be associated with a La Nino pattern. But quite frankly we are still studying how these cooling and warming of pacific warming patterns effect our weather pattern in this part of the country. Thanks for the question.
