More Rain and Eventually Snow by FridayFebruary 22nd, 2012 at 5:45 pm by Jonathan Conder under Weather
Our active weather pattern continues for the next several days and well into next week. Look for light rain during the early evening hours of Wednesday with a cloudy sky into Thursday morning.
Look for rain showers into Thursday afternoon with highs into the 40s. You will notice again for Thursday that it will be significantly warmer to the south and colder to the north. We could easily see only the lower 40s up near the Toll Road and the mid 50s down towards Grant/Blackford/Jay Counties.
Now here is where it gets a lot more interesting. As this next weather system passes over us Thursday night, it will pull cold air back into the area and our rain will change over to snow Thursday night into Friday morning. The snow will continue for Friday and by the time it turns off, look for an inch or two for Fort Wayne, with 2-4 inches expected along the Snow Belt Counties or along the Toll Road.
In the wake of this snow, look for highs in the 30s for Friday and Saturday with a few more flurries on tap for Saturday also.
