Much Needed Rain is Not Enough
- Highs Friday Before Cold Front
- Friday Rain at 5PM
- Weekend Planner
- Pollen Count
If our dry weather continues, this may be the wettest April in Fort Wayne recorded weather history. Our next round of rain comes in for Friday in the afternoon and early evening. This rain is going to be triggered by a wave of colder air moving in for the weekend, but the line of rain looks moisture starved.
I would expect about a quarter of an inch of rain total for Friday. Now, if you get under an isolated thunderstorm, you may see a little more.
Ahead of the rain, enjoy highs in the 60s, but behind the rain, look for highs in the 50s for the weekend. There is a chance of isolated showers for Sunday, about a 20% chance.
If your nose is stopped up, blame it on the pollen! The tree and grass pollen went from moderate to high levels this afternoon.
