Frost possible tonight

After a comfortable day with highs around 60°, get ready for a COLD night.  With a clear sky tonight and a calm wind, temperatures will drop quickly as the daytime warmth escapes from ground level back into the atmosphere.  By morning, temperatures will be in the low-mid 30s.

So, it’s that time again.  If you have plants outside tonight that you want to protect from frost damage, bring them in or cover them up.

Now, there are some things to know about covering up your plants properly.  While an old blanket or bedsheet can do the job, there are actually special fabrics made for this purpose.  They’re called “garden blankets”.
