Pleasant outdoor November weatherNovember 17th, 2012 at 11:12 am by Nicholas Ferreri under Weather
While, yes, our mornings start off cold this time of year, we warm up quickly once the sun comes out and, today, we’ll end up with highs in the low-mid 50s. With our average high now in the upper 40s for this date, a temperature in the 50s isn’t too shabby. And, most of the week ahead, features the same weather pattern in place (with even warmer temperatures) – meaning this stretch of above average highs continues from now through the end of the 7-day Forecast.
At this time of the year, with colder air typically in place, outdoor events are harder and harder to come by. And, in fact, the event I’m spotlighting here on the blog today is only partially outside. It’s the Rome City Holiday House Walk and it will certainly turn out to be a nice November day to be walking from house to house and around Rome City. If you make the trip, you’ll be able to tour 4 homes decorated for the season ($6 Ticket Price) and also check out an Artisans’ Market at the Rome City Town Hall. There are also 2 bazaars going on. One takes place at the Rome City United Methodist Church and the other takes place at the new firemen’s hall on Warrener Drive.
We have more info about this event on our wane.com Community Page.
