Temperatures move down after Thanksgiving

Very warm air coming in from our west

Warm Thanksgiving

Some amazing high temperatures yesterday as Omaha Nebraska set an all time record of 72 degrees ! That warm air will make a brief visit on Thanksgiving afternoon as our temperatures soar to the 60s, making the warmest Turkey holiday in nearly 40 years.

Winds of change

Temperatures will drop into the 30′s by Friday as winds will also be a factor in this change.

Thanksgiving winds will be from the south and southwest

Winds Thursday afternoon will be from the south and southwest bringing warmer air in from the Gulf of Mexico.

Winds will change to the northwest Friday

Winds will change from the south to the northwest by Friday afternoon dragging with them some very cold air as temperatures will fall into the 30s through the day.
