Updated snow forecast for Thursday night, ending Friday evening

Can you say “Lake Effect Snow?”   Hands down, this is a hard forecast for Thursday night: where do the bands of lake effect snow set up?  Where ever they do, look for higher snow amounts.

As of now, look for 2 to 3″ for Allen County with higher amounts to the northwest.  Reference the map above for the specific values.

Is this significant?  I think so, especially when you add 40 to 50 mph wind gusts to the mix.  Needless to see, look for low visibilities and difficult travel Thursday night into Friday afternoon.
