By the numbers: Friday’s Snow and Wind

December 21st, 2012 at 10:48 pm by under Weather

Our first “Winter Blast” wraps up this Friday night as the remaining flurries end and winds decrease.

Here are some of today’s top snow totals across the area.  Note:  Bluffton’s report of 2.5″ came in at 8:00 AM and Bluffton continued to pick up snow later in the day.  As of publishing time, an updated report had not come in from the weather spotter in Bluffton who filed the morning report.  Van Wert’s tally includes snow up through 2:45 PM and Marion’s snow is through 5:43 PM.

Of course, it was windy, too.  Defiance recorded the highest wind gust last night as the storm system began to affect the region.  The highest gust in Fort Wayne came early this morning at 3:23 AM.

Hi, I remember Greg saying a few days ago we may get potential accumulating snow next week. Is this still forecasted, and when and how much?
