NWS Radar Dome at NWS Office in North Webster, Indiana

Even though the physical ray-dome and radar dish will not be replaced, the NWS 88D radar  and it’s software will be upgraded to dual pole technology.  So what does this all mean?  The local NWS office has a great review of the technology upgrade here.

When the 88D is down for the upgrade, don’t forget you can watch our Live Doppler 15 Fury on our 247 radar channel 15.3 and of course, live during all our weathercasts.
