Tracking The Warm Up

Here is the track of the warm up. Western areas will warm much faster than eastern areas. This will lead to a more dramatic warm up for the western part of the country and the Plains.

Here is how much above normal temperatures will be next week

This is a bit unusual as we usually don’t see a warm up coming from the northwest but that is exactly what is happening as it tracks across the south and then into the Great Lakes region. As a result of the warm up temperatures will be almost ten degrees above normal. This would mean highs in the 40s for our region!

The warm up may not last long as another weather system will move in late week, dropping temperatures again.
