Become a NWS storm spotter!

In times of severe weather, the more trained eyes on the sky the better.  The National Weather Service holds several spotter training courses around the area each year.  At these sessions you’ll learn what to look for and when to look for it.  You’ll also learn a bit about how storms work.

The only prerequisite is taking the online spotter introduction course called Skywarn Spotter Training.
