Warm temperatures and heavy rainfall possible.

NOAA HPC QPF rainfall estimates for the area over the next 7 days. 1 to 1.5 inches expected across the area.
Heavy rainfall amounts are still possible as we see a significant warm up towards the end of the week. Remember a common ‘rule of thumb’ is that the warmer temperature the more ‘water’ or moisture it is capable of holding. Temperatures will certainly fit in this category as highs will be near 60 on Friday and still in the 50s Saturday. The best moisture availability for the region seems to be early Friday morning. That’s when we could see the heaviest rainfall.
The red line on this map indicates freezing line which continues to get pushed farther south especially on Wednesday. This feature will take the highs down well below normal by the middle of next week. So get ready for a big swing in temperatures over the next 7 days.
