Unless you live under a rock, you have to know that arctic is is moving in over the weekend. We have been talking about it since Monday, not only on WANE TV, but here on the weather blog and on our WANE Facebook page. But, if I am getting tired of saying the term “arctic air,” then you must be tired of hearing about it.
So, last night I employed our WANE Facebook fans to break out the weather thesaurus and share their ways of saying “arctic air” and boy, I was very impressed. We had over 170 contributors, albeit, some not appropriate for television. Above, I have posted my top 5 and honestly, having been raised on Star Wars movies (Episodes 4, 5 and 6), I thought the last one was the best!
Hands down, the “frigid front” that is arriving Sunday morning, will likely bring us an air masses that we haven’t experienced in over 2 years.
