Much colder in Siberia

Yes, the Arctic air is still ready to take a plunge into our region in the coming days and, yes, Tuesday night still sees temperatures just below 0°.   While this will be our coldest temperature in nearly 2 years, we can take some comfort in knowing there are certainly colder places around the globe.

In the video posted here from Novosibirsk, Russia (Siberia) watch what happens as a man throws boiling water into the air on a -41°C day (-41°C = -41.8°F).  Don’t try this at home, though.  While we will be cold here this week, we won’t be as cold as Siberia.
