Polution In MotionFebruary 5th, 2013 at 9:48 pm by Jonathan Conder under Weather
Thanks to my friend and fellow meteorologist Jeff Luxford for sharing this video with me. To my understanding, this is a NASA animation, plotting airborne particles that were measured from August 2006 to April 2007.
If you take the time to view the animation, maybe you will be intrigued as I was the impact we are having to our planet with man made aerosols, or pollution, especially over China.
If you don’t think it that bad over there, check out this web article about Smog Thick Enough to Cancel Flights.
I am not trying to open up Pandora’s box here and start a debate about climate change, but maybe this is a good reminder that we need to be good stewards of this planet. We only have one.
