4th Coldest Equinox Ever for the Fort
March 20th, 2013 at 5:41 pm by Jonathan Conder under Weather

The spring equinox was 7:02 this morning, but no one told Old Man Winter. Our high temperature today, set a record for being the 4th lowest maximum temperature for Fort Wayne. Compare that to last year, where we had the highest maximum temperature on the first day of spring with 84°.

Jonathan,
I know that you really don’t want to mention snow amounts for this coming weekend storm, but how scary are the amounts that some of the models are predicting. We need spring!!!!!!!
It would be very ignorant for me to throw out any numbers. The Sunday storm is over Alaska right now. But, I think at least 5″ is possible. The GFS model is pumping out 12″ for Fort Wayne. But, that is only one model and only one model run. Stay tuned.
