Severe storm risk for Friday night and Saturday morning.

Are you heading up to the Lake this Friday?   You may want to be severe weather aware, grab your weather radio, or sign up for WANE text alerts as we may see severe weather.

We are expecting a line of storms to move through the area some time late Friday evening through early Saturday morning.   I always like to get as specific as possible, but there are still unknowns on the exact timing.  If you had to hold me down, I would say the highest chance of those storms would be between 11PM Friday through 5AM Saturday.

As of right now, the biggest risk appears to be damaging winds, but with the way the storms will line up and move over the same area, localized flash flooding is possible.

Hey Mr Johnathon, The reason I like to know the relative humidity is whether it’s worth the time to hang my laundry on the line, or wait for a dryer (humidity) day. I like my solar dryer.

For drying clothes, that makes perfect sense. For impact on the human body, dewpoints are much more accurate.
