Winter Weather AdvisoryJanuary 31st, 2014 at 3:38 pm by Nicholas Ferreri under Weather
With our latest round of snow falling and, eventually changing to rain, along with the potential for slick travel as a result, a Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for the area through Saturday morning. 1″-2″ of new snow is possible from tonight into Saturday morning before the changeover to rain occurs.
We’ll also be monitoring for some sleet or freezing rain to develop during the snow/rain transition.
The snow changes to all rain by Saturday afternoon before changing back to snow later Saturday afternoon and evening, resulting in up to 1″-2″ max of additional snow.
Higher amounts of snow, sleet and ice are possible to our north and west. Drive carefully if your Friday night and Saturday travel plans take you in either of those directions.
